Miguel Ordóñez studied illustration in the school of art Nº 10 of Madrid, and he studied graphic design in the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design of London.

Since he finished his studies, in 2002, his career is devoted to graphic creation. He has worked and collaborated with a number of studios and agencies, being Estudio Mariscal of Barcelona, Artist Partners agency of illustrators in London and the Illustrating Department of Santillana Publishing Company in Madrid the most remarkable and worth mentioning.

He has worked abroad in publishing, advertising and press with International Herald Tribune, ESA (European Space Agency), Elle France, Hartcourt Brace USA and Danone France.

In the national field, he has a fruitful business relationship with publishing industry (Santillana, RBA, Edelvives, SM...), and he does a number of jobs for television (Antena 3 and Barcelona TV). He works regulary for the spanish newspapers El País, Público and La Vanguardia and he also collaborates for other magazines.

He currently works in his own studio in Madrid, where he combines graphic with illustrating projects.
